The most popular post-covid research and pedagogical terminology is ' learning losses'..every one is concerned about loss of learning in academic year. However, it first requires us to define learning...if the learning meant ' ability to read and write' than yes there was some loss ( which was somehow managed by online learning). On the other hand if we take learning process as development of creativity, problem solving and re- adjustment, then there is no learning loss but a gain...The pandemic has taught ( at some points in hard way) that there are gains in learning. Individuals learned to manage uncertainty, to creat solutions for existing issues through critical thinking. They learned to live a social life by spending more time with families. So if there is any loss than it is of literacy not learning ..
