Scholars today, leaders tomorrow

Our phd students are our future colleagues, always stated by my professor, my addition is they are also future of our profession. We need to collaborate and mentored them. These are the people who bring fresh insight into existing body of knowledge. They are teachers of future and i feel obliged to be invited by them for course work conclusion lunch.
