Are there any characteristic of a teacher that make him/ her bad teacher? Are these characteristic opposite of characteristics of a good teacher or in your opinion there might be other features that can be attributed to a good teacher?
One particular quality that I dislike in a teacher is the inability to understand that students are learners, and that it is nearly impossible for a beginner to know and comprehend everything about a particular subject on the first attempt. This may present as the teacher bashing and humiliating the student, which on it's own is the starting line of a whole array of other problems.
I think if a teacher is discouraging or if he can't explain at a student's level of learning it can have a negative influence or we can say that it is not the good characteristic of a teacher.
A bad teacher can negatively influence students by neglecting their educational needs and responsibilities. This can lead to lack of motivation and engagement in classrooms, ultimately affecting students
A good teacher and bad teacher can be opposites in some cases, as well as have completely different characteristics that define their teaching style, that don't necessarily have to be opposites of one another.
A bad teacher is someone who doesn't care about the interests and needs of the students. They have impassionate teaching style and often criticise their students.
